Be You

Roses are red

Violets are blue

There is an epidemic

Sicker than flu

Roses should be red

And violets should be blue

But if your something different

Then you must know it too.

How the people react

To the tiniest things that they see

Without considering facts

Just to judge instantly

And we start to seperate

People of different kinds

With unreasonable hate

We all seem to be blind

We see them as bad

And we see them as weak

But we don’t know its sad

Its the same thing we seek

If we see through the covers

If we look through our skins

If we look through whatever

Body we were born in

We would find one thing precious

What some are lacking of

Something so warm and selfless

And that one thing is

Roses are red

Violets are blue

But there’s nothing wrong

If you try to be you.
