Our beliefs will either make us or break us They can transform us into a better person or make us prejudice and self-righteous But when we become narrow minded and insensitive we spark controversy We belittle our peers and make them feel unworthy Opinions are forced on us by others who had the same fate Only then do we feel worthy Because their opinion is more important than our self-worth Then it becomes self-hate Well what is “it” It is who we are What I think of me myself and thy Our own self esteem Lowered when we start to value another’s opinion more than we do our own OPEN YOUR EYES! Your opinion is the only one that matters You choose for yourself Don’t let others choose for you There is no one else like you Be proud Not sorry Be true to you
