Be Yourslef
Dear Fear of Being Yourself,
Through all the years of jr. high and high school I have been faced with you. You did not allow me to show my true self, but made me hide behind a shadow of my fake self. You have told me that I have to be like he world; that I have to fit in with the more so said popular groups. I was not allowed to outwardly express myslef the way that I wanted to live my life, and I could not outwardly express my beliefs because you told me that that was not socially okay. I pretended for more than half of my years of high school and grade school to be someone that I am not. Half way through my junior year I realized that you are wrong about the world and I can express who I really am, because it does not matter what others think. I say this because I am cruching you and throwing the words you have said to me out of my head. I am an independent person, and I now believe that a person has to be themselves to get where they want to in life. You cannot life under the shadow of a fear. I here on out will be myself and outwardly express that God is my true God and he is the one who will help me defeat all of my pains and struggles.
Sincerely,
Logan Ferrucci
