The Beach

As I walk through the beach, I can feel the warm yet cold sand in between my toes, trying to engulf my feet as I struggle to get to my destination. The wind slashes at me like a whip. I can feel it trying to stop me but can't. I finally make it to the shore and sit down, quietly gazing at my surroundings and wait.... I see the waves crashing powerfully against the soft wet sand, creating a line of white foam separating the gulf from the beach. The delicate seashells cover the miniature sand castles, and another Ocean Breeze hits me but instead blows through my hair. The sunset on the horizon is like a painting with all the colors of the rainbow slowly fading, leaving me in the dark The ocean water kisses my feet as I sit and watch the beautiful scenery. I can hear seagulls making the little noises as they fight over food. The shoreline stretches far and wide farther than the eye can see I can taste the salty ocean air and it calms my body and soul Letting me relax in this heavenly Paradise as I slowly drift into a deep deep sleep.... For once I have finally found some inner peace... Happiness.... And freedom.
