The beach

The Beach

The beach is beautiful

The waves crashing

like puppies wrestling in the back yard

The sand

squishing

and rubbing

between my toes

The waves feel like you're letting go of the world

Like you're at peace with everything

Like you don't have to worry about anything

Like you can walk around with no care in the world

and be free

Like you can just fall

and you know someone

will

catch

you

When the waves stop,

the world comes back

 Like someone

just took away something

something

that you've been working for

all your life

and now

it's gone
