Beach

Innumerable grains of sand rush from my hand

Back down to the ground

The wind blows off from the ocean and all is calm

The water is friendly and it drags me away

Under water is another life

One where I wish I could become a part of

Yet I can’t breathe and I steal a gasp of air

Once again I return to the land where I belong

Yet I long for the sea

Its blue green waves that rush over me is all I want to feel when I go to the

Beach
