The beach that I am stuck on

I sit on the shore of a beach,

the tide pulling in,

a storm about to hit,

but its to late now,

I am already stuck,

I try to get up,

but my hands are glued to the sand,

where else would I go anyway?

here it comes,

its on its way,

the water hits my face,

the force pulling me in,

its already causing me pain,

before long I am submerged,

I guess theres no escape,

the tide washed away my glue,

I'm no longer stuck,

I am floating around,

I am so confused,

theres no way out,

a few years later,

I wash up on the shore,

just another scar or two,

I sit on the beach,

oh no,

I am stuck again
