The beach is one of my favorite places pt. 2

I know you don’t really like hot weather

But I’d still like to drag you to California

Imagine us sitting and digging our toes in the sand

I can already see the dark waters that scare me to death

As long as you’re here, I won’t drown

You keep the best of me from drifting away

And disappearing with the foam

Maybe I’ll even pick up a seashell

When you're taught to love everyone, to love your enemies, then what value does that place on love?
