Beach Sonnet

palm trees standing tall, touching the blue sky

waves crashing down on the shiny white sand

birds spread their wings, sky high they love to fly

the beach is gorgeous, a great part of land

i see in the sky the white fluffy clouds

the kites are flying high above my head

kids running fast on the big sandy mounds

chasing the seaguls, then away they fled

the sun is burning so high in the sky

rays of sunlight tanning my light, pale skin

looking up, i see some birds flying by

in the water, i see yellow fish fins

coming to the beach is always a blast

having so much fun always goes by fast
