Like a beacon

(poems go here) The sun struggles to rise Above a dim blue horizion. Waves lap against the rocks that adorn the shore Slowly washing away their defences. Such as you did to me. Brick by brick, You dismantled my wall. Laid siege to the sanctuary. Made my castle your home. The waves crawl back to their home, the sun rushes to set, Leaving the landscape in utter darkness. Our bond burns like a beacon Lighting the way for us to come back home.
