beans

i spilled the beans. it just came pouring out of this aluminum can… it came and it came and i couldn’t make it stop… like, isn’t there only so small a space for beans to be in a can? i said, “when i’m old and eighty” she said, “i guess you just turned eighty” and, like spilled salt, one can’t put it back. it’s not that i feel regret or anything… I sort of feel… elated. it’s real. it’s real. Omygawd, it’s real. Real. Did I just spill the beans? I don’t know what made me do it! Real. It’s REAL!
