Beast

My body was in France. My heart was in the culture. My ears were tangled throughout the music that filled the air; a puzzle of words. My stomach, the beast within, was on the table. The table of potatoes, and sausage, and bread, and cheese. The beast will love and the beast will feast. And with the beast go all the other senses. The heart, the ears, and all of those never mentioned. With this body, the stomach in control, I will eat my way through France. I will eat my way through Australia, Brazil, Istanbul, and Canada. And with this beast, a stomach of great proportions, I will learn of the world.
