A Beast

A beast.

I was strong, fast, unbeatable,

Red eyes, hot breath,

Power flowing like blood.

You were my pet,

Your only purpose was to make me

Happy.

And when you failed

My pillars fell and the sun

Blackened

For that was the one thing I

Required.

Me

And now that you're gone

All I can think of is

You

And how in my heart I'm nothing but

A monster.
