The Beast

I'm in the front

Already in disgust

Having to be just

In the center of the haunt.

Her eyes pierced through me,

Like a knife,

Giving me a feeling of fear.

A mess it was at first,

But then a voiced cried out

Once more...

...It was the sound of cheer..

Oh! How glad was I

For the stinging in her eyes

Have faded away from me.

It now turned away from me

And towards the eyes

Of her new victim,

Ready to pounce once more

For the feast

She has been waiting for.
