Beast


 

I don’t think you ever believed in me- never, but I confided in you, and that helped me survive the torture.

I suppose I should thank you.

Thank you for getting this all out of my system.

Thank you for the false friendship.

Thank you for the stifled creativity and awkward out cries.

Thank you for the judgement and the patronizing words I was too dumb to see through.

Thank you for looking down on my passion as an awkward teenage phase-

I am no better than you, as I write now-

I got better, no thanks to you.

It’s pretty pathetic, but for a while you were my only motivation.
