beastly

there is a monster inside of me

when it all becomes too much

I turn to her

set her free

relish in her destruction

bask in her hatred

maybe it is monstrous

to feel more at home

with a monster

than in my own skin

but perhaps

it is more beastly

that I have learned

to be this way
