The Beat I Live By

A clicking is pounding in my head A beat that I Won't ever forget The tempo of my heart When I get my feet wet The energy fluxuates as times change Adrenaline is quick and upbeat While sad times drone on Rhythm just moves my moods 24/7 I hear a count, A tempo A metronome buzzing in my head Never ceasing or decreasing It's vicious Knocking at my soul Wanting to come in and take control It is my waking And sleeping breath A song always stuck in my mind The rhythm moves as the Times get slow and quick I follow the path it leads, for, When I don't, My life is awkward and Has No Flow My beat sets the pace And I play musically The best I can do The beating ticker Leaves some room for improve But it's easier to just follow For this beating Ticking, Tempo giving Being is my heart And it's the beat I live by.
