Beautiful
Beautiful girl,
You're slipping away.
Don't surrender to him,
Don't give up on yourself.
You're crying for help,
Keep begging for help-
Do you want it from me?
I never can tell.
Nobody sees how you
Look down after you laugh.
They are blind to your pain-
Why don't they care?
You care for the boys
Who care nothing for you.
They pretend not to see
And you like that.
New scars take the place
Of the ones that fade.
Time heals but you can't wait;
He's not the only one hurting you.
Your smile fools those who don't know
But I do,
And I'm losing you more
With every new bruise.
Although you could be gone tomorrow
Don't let him take any more of you
Because you are so beautiful
But I can't stand to look at you like this.
