Beautiful
From very deep crevices in the earth
This dust has formed my body
All 10 fingers
All 10 toes
And everything else in between
And maybe the fact
That I only come from the specs off the ground
Is the reason why I feel at times
That I am disintegrating
It is as if someone can kneel down and scoop up all of me
Like if I'm only a small handful on this earth
I am itty
With a wrenched heart
And sometimes I wish that I could float on the stars
Just so I could look down and see twinkling flaws
The earth
the sky
And the trees
Are all so beautiful
And I know that
Whatever is beautiful
Only gets it beauty when it grows
But At times
I do not feel beautiful
And I must remember that I am a part of this earth
and that I am made from the dust that forms it
And through all of the stillness
I have grown
And I have become the life that surrounds you
Beautiful
