Beautiful

Anger, pain, regret, jealousy Look at what you did to me But I can’t be angry Cause I did it to you I took your heart, And forgot it was there I misplaced it Moved it Tumbled it around I dropped it a few times onto the ground I couldn’t understand how to feel Thank you Though I hate what you’ve put me through No matter how this turns out I’ll never hate you I wanted you to teach me how to love How to get to the deepest part of my heart To express everything because I’d never want to lose my everything Thank You for loving me For being my everything for awhile For bringing back a part of my heart I hid away For fighting it out and continuing to stay If this is my goodbye I hope you learned something too And will make the perfect wife I know you can be And fight it through You reminded me of my mom And maybe it still shows But maybe I wasn’t like my dad And had a few holes I sorry you fell And I didn’t pick you back up Sorry it was hell And that it was too much I’m sorry I couldn’t be enough And love like I promised even when it got tough I’m sorry my words failed when they were in need I’m sorry for any scars that you’ll have to keep I can only give you the part of my heart you hold I can never take it back I’m just not that bold I’m glad you were my first I wanted you to be my last Maybe we ran off a little too fast I don’t know if I’ll ever be right to just walk away But I need you in my life as more, But you cannot stay Friend won’t be enough It will just cause fights It will cause hard times And cause long nights Pretending will hurt And will always fail But remember me for who I was and now am And when or if you ever tell of our tale Please say that it was, at least for a bit Beautiful
