Beautiful

Dear Little Sister,

The mirror,

It doesn't say it all.

It catches only a glimmer,

Only a moment of life,

Only a sliver of beauty.

The mirror sees so little.

Darling Little Girl,

These people

Will say almost anything.

When in reality,

They know only the minute,

Only the jealousy they feel,

Only that they too are insecure.

These people know so little.

My Bright Sunshine,

Please remember,

You are more than mirrors,

More than words.

You are the light of shining eyes,

The acts of compassion,

The morning spent dancing.

And you are beautiful.

My Sweet Caris,

Full of grace,

Smile at the mirrors,

Forgive the people,

But don't forget your worth.

Don't forget that you are more.

Don't forget that you are enough,

That you are loved
