Beautiful Affliction
A colorful candy wrapper rolling along the pebbled floor,
A bag of potato chips thrown into the glistening shore,
Black smog polluting the air we inhale,
Greasy oil suffocating a beautiful gray whale.
While a stunning butterfly slowly spreads its wings,
A bird’s neck is strangled within plastic soda rings.
