beautiful bird

Yesterday I passed by a park

I noticed a leaf that was hanging from a tree

half was brown

and half was green.

It reminded me of our love

sometimes it was fun

and sometimes we argue'ed too much.

But i'll never forget of the beautiful bird

trying to lift the leaf from falling

yet no matter how hard it tried

the weight was too much for her shoulders to carry.

She had to let it fall.

She had to let it go.
