Beautiful Brutality
When they tell you that they love you,
But their empty words leave holes,
Your once kind heart drowns in the poison
Dripping uncontrolled.
Their lips are dosed in bittersweetness,
Leaving only toxic kisses.
They tell you that they love you,
How the world could never see more beauty
A beauty they cover in bruises
Words are just words, but they can still leave their mark.
How can they tell you they love you, after every blow?
