The Beautiful Day At The Beach

The rapid waves pound the rocks As seagulls glide above eloquently Drifting with the ocean breeze With a sense of relief and security Stress is not present here Just a place where the soul becomes pure And the mind becomes cure A sun-stricken face Sand between my toes The smell of saltwater Tired and peaceful Full of hot dogs and lemonade A beautiful day at the beach Who could ask for more?
