Beautiful Death

The meaning of life is a beautiful death

Who will you be when you draw your last breath

When the clock has ticked it last time

If they look at your resume what will they find

Did you face your fears and overcome obstacles

Or did you freeze in the moment like children’s popsicles

Did you embrace failure and learn from its lessons

Did you run from challenges or sink into depression

Are you drawn to success like a moth to a flame?

Willing to endure the fire in order to reach the fame

Were you willing to think outside the box

Were you willing to solve the mystery?

Knowing that pain is temporary

But glory echoes throughout eternity

When your life meats it final date

Will your name like Alexander?

Be followed by The Great.

When the light begin to dim

And you have breathed your last breath

Will you have lived a beautiful life?

Or will you have lived to die a beautiful death.
