Beautiful Familiarity

They say beautiful things lose their value when they become familiar.

That's why vacations are so great.

The places you visit are so new and unfamiliar and just seem so amazing,

but the more time you spend there,

the more familiar these beautiful places become.

The more they lose their shine.

The more time I spent with you these past few years,

knowing you and becoming familiar with you and loving you,

you have only grown more and more beautiful with each and every day my love.

In my eyes, you could never lose your shine.
