Beautiful Flower
Someone close to me planted a seed.
Entering me into a 9 month life cycle transforming to a human being.
As my stem develops it cannot be reversed.
But if my petals don’t grow as fast, it doesn’t mean I’m cursed.
It will just take more time for me to become that divine flower God has innate me to be.
Feeling worthless, a piece of shit that is blind from her life’s purpose.
Not knowing why He chose you to breathe life on this surface.
You are truly a beautiful flower in a garden full of dead leaves.
So awesome that someone came and picked you out of this garden of wanna be’s.
I blossom most when the sun and wind blows.
But if the rain hits me I flee away so no one knows.
I turn into this old plant that hides her inner beauty.
All because of an insecurity.
The truth behind the pollen I was wearing all along.
Just waiting for a swarm of bees to come suck the life out of me.
Stuck, lost in a place I did not belong.
So now it’s time for a change to occur right now.
It’s hard putting the pieces back in place; I don’t know how.
Taking the weeds out from around me was harder than I thought.
So I ran into a field of forgiveness where I became that flower; I sought.
