A Beautiful House

I think I am a house The outside walls painted bright and cheerful People drive by and say, "What a beautiful house". What no one sees Is the inside Its rotting beams and torn wallpaper Its moldy couches and rats nests I wonder if anyone will ever go inside the house And love its messed up inside as much as its perfect outside But no one ever does They just drive by and say, "What a beautiful house". I think I am that house
