Beautiful Imperfect Poetry
Poetry is my life
When the world turn their back on me
When their bitter words cut through
My vein making my heart bled from pain
On a piece of paper sheet
Lay all my pains
when the world is in confusion
and my mind is in chaos
And there is turmoil in my heart
No own to turns to
One a piece of paper sheet
Lay all my thoughts
At the tip of my pencil
Letters follow by words
like a stream of water
Words flow into stanzas
That speaks with an angry tone
that could not fight back
Poetry is my teacher
It heals the biggest scars that
I thought would never heal
It taught me how to love again
with a broken heart
How to find my dream that has long been gone
Broken to dust and fly with the wind
It helps me forgive the ones I thought
I could never forgive
The killers of dreams
The ones who destroy a child life
It helps me forgive myself
It teach me how to trust again
when everyone I trusted has let me down
How to believe when hope is gone
It taught me that I can rise again
Cause after every sundown comes a sunrise
Poetry is the real me
Is the answer to my distinct and indistinct query
It is the words that has never been said
It's the hidden secret from the world
Is the part of me only I know exist
Is my scars and fears
That no one sees only me
Is the loud angry voice behind my silence
Is the things I see and felt all alone
Is me behind closed doors
The real me
Powerful and resilient
Beautiful and imperfect
Poetry is my savior from this brutal life
When the world ignites gasoline on my body
Burning through my bones
Filling my chest with smoke
Gasping for air
For the first time in five years
I feel alive
I can feel my heartbeat again
My pulse rising from being so alive
It taught me how to breath and feels no hurt
Poetry is my home, my safe ground
Where I don’t have to hide away
My burns, my bruises
Where I don’t have to pretend
I am not beaten and broken
It is where the real me exist
It is my heaven, my wonderland
Where I find myself flying through
words that heal my scars
Poetry is hope
When darkness has taken over
And I feel lost
With a sheet of paper and pencil
Lights will always shines my away
Poetry is me
