Beautiful Memory

In the clearing she stood, green and healthy.

Her flowers blooming, some even flowering.

She taught me what it was to be wealthy,

But under it all she was still growing.

I examined her roses and saw it,

Beneath her beauty she was feeling pain.

So I devoted my time bit by bit.

I fooled around and never once did she complain.

As time went by I grew proud of her growth

She flowered like no rose bush e'er before.

Success was placed in my heart and eyes both.

Being able to see her bloom made me soar.

Soon as I had seen what she had achieved

Finally it was time for me to leave.
