Beautiful Struggle of Love

Because I love you, I give you my heart

I give you my heart to feel close to you

And to embrace the courage you give me

Even though it is us, against the world

You keep me from falling

But at any moment, I could lose my balance

I could lose you, and be left in endless darkness

Then I could lose the light inside of me.

With only memories going through my head

But, sometimes our thoughts bring out the worst parts of ourselves

We are infatuated with thinking of our mistakes in the past

And allowing them to forever haunt our future

But there is someone out there

That reminds us that our worlds did not end

We are still alive

Even though our world constantly makes us feel like we are buried

Find what defines you, and what you can leave behind

Let them run with you, don’t let them carry you

For love isn’t someone saving you from your pain

It is you seeing life for what you can make it become

And finding someone to embark on this beautiful struggle beside you
Someone who would die for the chance to love you

Someone who wants to make you whole again
