Beautiful Sweetness

That warm summer day

Everything in my life seemed gray

Out of nowhere he smiled my way

I didn't know...what to say

I kept on isolating myself

always keeping to my self

yet he would always follow

trying to fill my heart so hollow

Everyone else sees smiles on my face

but he sees things no one else can trace

and so there he goes

picking me out of my woes

When I look up there is his smile

so beautiful with its own kind of style

His beautiful sweetness

and rays of brightness

always shining my way

Now that I am up, I can also see...

it wasn't only me

who had their ups and downs

and so now it is my turn to remove those frowns

And so there we are

walking throgh the war

of sadness trying to strike us.

We both know we'll get through with that beautiful sweetness
