Beautiful Tragedy
Like Romeo and Juliet it was a tragedy,
Forbidden love on this earth is like the four seasons,
We have the ability to feel it, but not stop it
She see’s him blended in the fragrant plum blossoms
She blend in alongside him with a mask, for a female scholar is unlawful
As they grew closer he is content with a sworn brother
The heat rises as her parents find out
Her mask is off and he is relieved
But the tension is still present
If time froze alongside the trees, she will probably be happier
His heart becomes cold and distant for her well being
She gets locked up in a lonely chamber
Tension thawed and bright colors sprouted on the frozen trees
But she is to be wedded to another
He passes in pain while watching the fog clear up
She beggs to see his tomb for it is all that’s left
Her attire is red but her heart is white
She follows him to the dirt and two butterflies fly out
Unlike Romeo and Juliet, it was beautiful
