A Beautiful World

In a world with billions of people

A world with you and me

A world with creatures of all shapes and sizes

That roam free and wild

A world where flowers bloom in spring

Where different languages are spoken

And learned, and written

Where no two people are the same

A world with stars that shine at night

A world with music

And laughter and smiles and tears

Films, literature, sports

Family bonds

Friendships formed

This is a truly beautiful world

In this world with so many things

There is just one object that I cannot live without:

MY GLASSES

If I don’t have my glasses,

What will I use to see this wonderous world?
