Beautifulest Thing by M.D.
The most beautiful thing possible to ever be seen
Is a mother’s love.
Unconditional, unstoppable, unstoppable, never-ending
Today, tomorrow, next week, next month, and even next year
It doesn't stop
Continuing regardless of who you decide to be
A mother's love is harsh yet sweet all at once
Pushing you at all times, to do your very best
Never letting you down
A mother's love is the beautifulest
You may forget to call her on Mother's Day
Or even her birthday
Or her anniversary
Or any important date ever
You could forget to send her a Christmas present
Or give her thanks for Thanksgiving
But she will continue to love you
And you can always count on a mother
To be honest with you and treat you
How you have treated others
A mother's love has no boundaries
Whether you are 5 and your first day of school
Or 17 and your last
She will still be there for you
To help you understand why that boy acts that way
Or why the girls are so damn mean
Or why they treat you let me you don't matter
She will tell you that everything will be okay
And you have no choice but to believe her
Because her love and her honesty
Has never let you down before
A mother's love guides the way
In this world that we live in
Don't do that, do that, stop that, begin that
She teaches you what is and what is not acceptable
Because a mother's love
Is the beautifulest thing you have ever seen
