Beautifully Dark
It seems lonelier when the blackbirds sing, in perfect broken harmony.
how shall we contain this wild rose that grows within us?
this rose helps you see what’s been kept away from your field of vision,
what society has told you are the poison that will seep into your bloodstream.
They want you to cut your source of freedom.
Our hearts only call to the sun when it is setting,
We start to miss that deep blue body of the sky, only when it is dark,
This miracle that is life, has given us an opportunity to see the sky in two ways.
An inexplicable phenomenon that tries hard every day to teach us something about ourselves, there is beauty in light but there is also beauty in darkness.
