Beauty

We all want to look the way we do in pictures Flawless and invincible. But that isn’t a reality, A “goal” that no one can achieve, That is what I have come to understand. Being me is what is meant to be; Not some girl in a magazine Not some girl on a runway, But me. Just me. I am 17 Happy and youthful, I wish I could stay this way. But I will not – no woman will. I am not the most confident But when I look back at my past, I will realize. I will realize that I SHOULD have been confident, I was happy and youthful, But I thought it were to stay that way. Life goes on, I will grow old – there is no other option. I need to see my beauty as it is today, Because I know that it will not stay. Filters are not needed, We were created this way for a purpose A beautiful, beautiful purpose.
