Beauty
It is hard enough to look in a mirror and hate the person you see,
it is even harder when all you see around you are people that are normal,
you think to yourself that is whats beautiful
You become so low its hard to get back up,
and you sink lower and lower,
until its too late and you are too far gone.
Body image is everything,
it affects you and me,
everyday people ask themselves do I look fat.
Media is not the only culprit,
It is those around us telling you to lose weight,
to stop being fat.
When you can't help it,
when you eat right and exercise,
when that doesn't work because you are not fat.
So you starve yourself until you can't take it,
then you binge until you feel sick,
and you have never felt worse.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
beauty comes from within,
so look in the mirror and tell yourself not what you aren't,
but what you are: beautiful.
