Beauty from Ashes
I am flawed
I am sinful
I am lazy
I am unholy
I am unworthy
I am unlovable
I am a criminal
I have murdered a man for my sin, for my very existence.
He stretched his arms across a tree.
He laid down his perfect, holy, lovely being down
He paid for my crimes.
He died and rose again
He sought out the Beauty from Ashes
Jesus saw my flawed, sinful, ugly body and laid his very own down in my place.
He turned my flaws into talents.
He turned my sinfulness to sinless.
He turned my lazy behavior to energy.
He turned my unholy life to a Holy life.
He turned my unworthiness into worthiness
He turned my unlovable behavior and turned me into lovable.
