The Beauty of a Black Girl

Fri, 03/01/2019 - 19:16 -- mullent

I am a beautiful black girl

I was born with curly black hair

I have beautiful melanin skin

Beautiful full lips

No filters

No make up

I am all natural

See, I'm not perfect but I was created in God's image

Even though society was educated to reject black girls like me

I will rise tall because that's how I was taught by a beautiful

black queen

My roots are strong

I am intelligent

Every ounce of me is flawless

Yes, I am misunderstood but if you get to know me

Then you will know that I am powerful

My strenght of my back bone intimidates many

I will never apologize for my beauty

If you can't handle me then close your eyes

I will not change myself because of what society says

I will never be a beautiful black goddess
