The beauty in the complexity of simplicity

Who is she, who is me, what is we We are two intertwined combined by faith She is the soul fire burning under me Me is the warrior protecting through wraiths She got the 'it' which makes me go into fits Fit the 'it' into we without the weed smoke Don't need no weed smoke to be together To be together we don't dream of forever But our forever isn't a scheme of time Our forever is laced into this rhyme Wake into her sunshine filled eyes Here is a penny for your thoughts Open those orifices to the crevices of your mind to the third eye To have your 'I' become a we Where lust turns to dust as love is a must There is no imperative action in this life called hell A life in a jail cell 'til you met her, the bell of the ball In this cramped up blue box she and me became a we She the impossible girl and me the mad man Lost in the time vortex, don’t need to text The mad man cooking up the dreams The impossible girl souffléing it with the creams Me is that man A lowly man only given the tools from older fools To fool around til the tools become weap-ons That you strap-on to rule the ghouls of schools To think that it’s cool to be cruel to other fools She is needed to smooth out this rough edge This is the ruffian roughing it up with the big dogs
