Beauty in the Dark

It's beautiful.

I can honestly say I'm in love,

with life right now.

Right now I'm living.

Looking at what seems like a million stars.

To feel the security of the ground.

The lingering of cold air on my face.

With a slight familarity of summer.

I've been dreaming of this moment,

ever since i was diagnosed.

Darkness is what I seem to find beauty in.

With scattering of little white lights.

My beauty is forming my darkness,

into something that is always illuminated,

with millions of my own stars.

The security they give,

is a withstanding force.

They fortify my mind,

when i need it most.
