Beauty in Death

Limp blonde hair falling in her eyes

Parted red lips releasing a sigh

Her skin looked like porcelain

As the cold began to set in

A sense of freedom in her eyes

Even though they were no longer dry

A shudder ran through her body

As she let out one last breath

And I thought, "There is beauty, even in death."

I live in a small town so there is not much to do. Writing is a way for me to entertain myself when I'm not busy with cheerleading practice and all the other clubs I'm involved in. I hope you enjoy my poems as much as I enjoy writing them! :)
