The Beauty of Destruction

Dedicated to my father I live on this Old Farm, a Farm that seems to have lost      all of its Value.... No cows graze Here, there's no clucking or feathers, or the fresh smell of manure. There's just old barns and sheds filled with dust and cobwebs, all placed   oddly in a Pecan Orchard. Roofs of two sheds lie lifeless on the overgrown grass. And the Old Fence, the poor beaten Fence, leans here and there. My Family built that Fence, along with the buildings on this Property. They even planted the pecan trees. This Land is my Home,      my Life.... It is all I have ever known. And even though Destruction seems to conquer this Farm, there is still a Beauty that not many can see. Indeed, Life runs through this Land. Memories, not just of my own but of Family and Ancestors alike, keep this Farm alive.... And it seems to have lost      all of its Value.....
