The Beauty Found

I once was blind, but now I see

I once was lost, but now I’m found

And I’m happy I found the beauty

In you, in life

The searching of it expanded past the lengths of the ocean

Past the depths of the skies

Because I searched for so, so long

On the meaning of it all

You are still blind, and can’t see what I see

Because everyone around you painted canvases of horrible life

It wasn’t life at all-but death that they surrounded us with

Cloaked like the robe of grim reaper- smothered in the perfume of death

But, did you see the light that burst through the seams

It touched my mind, and heart, and my being

I wish you’d experience the fact that life isn’t all what they experience and say it is

I wish that you’d take a dive trip with me and my Pilot

Deep to the waters I swam in, in search of

And see your blindness turn to vision

See your lost ways find beauty

See yourself in my shoes, following the footsteps that were once called the wrong path

But I knew better, and so will you
