The Beauty In Me

Look at my scars So visible I can't remove them Look at my flaws So obvious I can't even hide them Look at my heart So broken I can't even join the pieces together But look at my smile So beautiful I don't want it to fade That's the beauty in me . - The story if my life left people speechless The life I live left them with questions like "how do you cope? How do u survive? How do u even smile?" That's just the beauty in me . - Every night I cried myself to sleep and every morning I woke up with a beautiful smile My mind is a horror movie Can't escape my own demons Singing the same hymn over and over and over again My heart beating like an African marimba My demons , that's just the beauty in me . - Don't criticize me cause I'm different Don't judge me cause I'm too emotional driven Don't belittle me, teach me Don't throw insults , love me That's the beauty in me The beauty that covers my scars The beauty that sings a lullaby to my demons . The beauty in me

As a writer & a creator, I'm giving you my experiences. But just take what I give you. You ain't got to pry beyond that.
