The beauty of sound

The white ivory keys speak to me

They whisper sounds so pure

Introducing new ways fo me to see

Strong fingers playing confident and sure

I learned to play when I was young

Sensitive to their sounds

My voice carries their notes on my tounge

So sweet my soul abounds

The grace that comes from sitting tall

And understanding the flow of sound

I feel brave and no longer small

In music that is where I am found
