Beauty Surrounds

Sun, 05/27/2018 - 01:09 -- Cricket

Stillness within the sky covered with a blanket of stars,
calmness in the trees and smells close and far.
The sweet smell of lilac moves swiftly under your nose,
that timeless scent of beauty like the simple smell of a rose.
The air is still yet for a moment you catch a breeze,
you hear the rustling of leaves on newly bloomed trees.
Take in this beauty, these gifts from God above,
stop and smell the flowers they were made with love.
Beautiful isn't just a woman with a heart of gold and pretty face,
it is all around you made with two hands and Gods grace.
