beauty within yourself

Looking in the mirror wondering what am I looking at What do I see? How do I feel? Will there be change in the way I look? Depression brings the worse in me, makes me feel lonely, hurt, unwanted in the world. Thinking to myself what’s my purpose in life? Why am I here? What do I symbolize in God’s eyes? Wondering when beauty is going to show through this mirror, Every time I look in the mirror I shed a tear, Wondering when is the look going to change Hoping that things don’t stay the same. Overtime I see that I still look the same Wondering why God’s creation haven’t change Realizing that I need to appreciate what remains the same. From now on I see what I have been missing within myself, Figuring out who I really am. Now when I look in the mirror, I see intelligence, bravery, and a warm smile on face That brings happiness and grace. Appreciation of yourself is a celebration, To know that you are God’s gift and creation.
